An Indonesian official said on Monday that nearly 2,000 bodies have been found in Paru since the earthquake and tsunami hit Indonesia. The official warned that thousands of people are still missing.

"This number is expected to rise because we haven't received an order to stop searching for the body right away," Sohill said.
