Russia's Far East attracts investment and supports the investment manager of the Export Department: preliminary estimates that Chinese companies will lease half of the land, Russian companies will lease 25%, and the remaining 25% will be leased by Korean and Japanese companies.

Russia’s Ties News Network reported on the 21st that Russia’s Far East region’s investment and support for export agency investment manager Valery Dubrovsky recently said that Russia plans to provide investors with millions of hectares of agricultural land in the Far East. Chinese companies will be very interested. It is estimated that Chinese companies will lease half of the land, Russian companies will lease 25%, and the remaining 25% will be leased by Korean and Japanese companies.

According to the report, the leased land is most suitable for growing soybeans, wheat and potatoes. Dubrovsky pointed out that the local government hopes to jointly develop agriculture with foreign capital and is willing to provide Chinese investors with vast land for agricultural projects. The Far East is rich in land resources. There are about 8 million hectares of agricultural land here. Currently, the developed land only accounts for 2/3 of the total area.

Russia's ridus news network said on the 21st that in the context of the Sino-US trade war, China has increased tariffs on US soybeans, so it needs land to produce itself. The director of the Russian Land Market Research Institute, Rerico, said that Chinese farmers have actively leased farmland in Russia. The best land in Russia has been used by local farmers, and the newly provided land may be located in remote or non-production areas.
