U.S. builds space force Russia quit: If Russia defaults, it will retaliate strongly

Overseas Network, June 20th Local time on the 18th, US President Trump ordered the Defense Department to immediately launch the process of establishing the "military force" of the Sixth Army to ensure the "dominance" of the United States in this field. When the news came out, the Russian side warned that the United States’ plan to establish a "space force" could lead to disaster. If the United States dares to violate the "Outer Space Treaty" and put weapons of mass destruction on track, Moscow will be ready to "strong revenge."

According to a report on the Russian website today, shortly after Trump ordered the creation of this new branch of the US military, Bondelev, head of the Defense and Security Committee of the Russian Federal Council, expressed to the media that "space militarization is a disaster." The senator warned that the United States may violate international agreements that govern the demilitarization of space, thus putting international security at serious risk.

"If you consider what the Americans have done in other areas, then they have a great risk of committing serious violations in this area (space). If the United States withdraws from the 1967 agreement banning the deployment of nuclear weapons in space, ( This move will not only receive a hard response from our country but will also receive a hard response from other countries. The purpose of this agreement is to maintain international security,” Bondarev said.

The United States signed the "Outer Space Treaty" in 1967, which prohibits all nations from deploying nuclear weapons and any other weapons of mass destruction in Earth orbit. It also prohibits countries from testing any weapons in outer space or setting up military bases on the moon and other celestial bodies.

Trump also seems to be thinking about building space forces. In March 2018, the U.S. president proposed to add a "space force" to the U.S. military. However, in the eyes of many people, this may just be Trump's temporary remarks, even a joke. On May 1, the U.S. president mentioned the matter again and stated that he was "consider seriously" to establish a new military department. Finally, on June 19, Trump formally announced that it will form a "space force" and call it the national security issue.
